About Pimsleur Spanish
More than any other language learning program, I benefited from the approach that is employed by Learning Spanish Like Crazy and Pimsleur. Both programs use a very similar format. As compared to Pimsleur, I got more from Learning Spanish Like Crazy (LSLC) in terms of both learning and enjoyment. However, Pimsleur has a number of advantages to consider.
- The Pimsleur company has a longer history.
- Pimsleur is notably more polished. (It is published by the very well known Simon & Schuster Audio.)
- Pimsleur has a lot experience at this, having produced programs for several languages.
- You are more likely to encounter people who have used the Pimsleur product.
- Pimsleur offers more than 3 levels of Spanish. When I finished LSLC levels 1 & 2, I was able to continue my studies with Pimsleur levels 3 and 4.
